Student Work | Techniques in Visual Communication Design | die cutting & embossing

My mom always said that my great grandmother always said to unwrap your bars of soap and to dry them out to make them last longer. Whether an old wives tale or not, this idea was what inspired this branding and packaging project and the design was created based on that tradition. The logo and pattern was inspired by a 1920's bathroom tile floors and the airy packaging designed to get customers to keep soaps dry. The die cutting and embossing was all done by hand.
